We have been faithful to Heartland for 28 years. All of our dogs have been very well cared for from regular wellness visits through illness, injuries and surgeries. We love the vets, techs, asistants and front desk staff who have always been very accommodating. Thank you Heartland!

Heartland is the most caring and wonderful practice. All of the vets, vet techs, and staff are kind, patient, and take a real interest in the welfare of our pup. They take the time to explain options and even follow up by phone after procedures. We will keep coming back to Heartland.

I have five dogs - different breeds and sizes. Heartland has provided excellent care for all of my beloved animals!
All the vets are top notch- good listeners and truly caring! They are very knowledgeable, lots of experience, etc.
The office staff are fantastic! Friendly and responsive. I highly recommend Heartland to all of my friends who need vet care!

This was my first experience with a male cat, as all of my previous pets were female dogs. My longtime veterinarian retired, so I had to find a new clinic.
It felt strange not meeting the veterinarian who actually worked on my cat. The staff handled check-in and check-out, but the paperwork was signed by someone different from the veterinarian I was told my cat would be seeing.
There was also a communication issue regarding the "cone of shame." I was unfamiliar with the term E-collar and thought it referred to a tracking or identification collar. I even asked why I would need both if he was getting microchipped, but the misunderstanding was never clarified. As a result, there was confusion when I later asked about the cone and was given an oversized collar that was not properly fitted for him. The cone was so large that it would have interfered with his ability to access his food and water bowls. He was also extremely distressed by it, to the point that I was unable to safely put it on him. In my opinion, a soft recovery or pillow-style collar would have been a much more appropriate and comfortable option, allowing him greater freedom while still preventing him from licking the surgical site.
I was disappointed with that part of the experience. The misunderstanding and oversized cone created unnecessary stress for both of us at a time when pet comfort was especially important.

Everyone there is so friendly. The extra care and attention from staff go a long way toward making vet visits with multiple animals less stressful for all of us. Everyone seems much less anxious during and after our visits. I would (and often do) recommend Heartland Vet Clinic to friends and family.
